Sunday April 19th, 12pm - All ages
Come create unique works of art out of thrift store grabs! Students will choose from a selection of images, painting prints, and thrifted artworks to build their masterpiece over. Using collage techniques, we will accent and add to the image. We will compliment your one-of-a-kind original with paint and glazes, and finish the artworks by making them hangable for your wall at home.
This class will encourage you to breakdown the traditional painting approach by beginning an artwork with an "unknown collaborator". Because you already have an image to work off, the initial apprehension of knowing how to start or what to make will be erased, as your "unknown collaborator" has already set the stage for you to begin. This is truly a freeing and fun approach to create one-of-a-kind art,
All materials will be provided but BRINGING ADDITIONAL MATERIALS IS ENCOURAGED!
All images must be family-friendly
All ages are welcome, but keep in mind students need to be able to use scissors safely. Younger students will need to have an adult present.
This class has limited space - please sign up by emailing Emily at hardin.emily@gmail.com

Have you seen our Little Library? Located front and center on the fence of the Farm Center, our brightly painted Little Library is a fun way to connect with your community. Take a book, leave a book-those are the only rules! English, Spanish, child, or adult, there is something for everyone. We appreciate your respect for the books inside and the Little Library itself. Enjoy!
